Sculptra
A biostimulator that gradually restores facial volume
Sculptra is a unique, collagen-stimulating injectable treatment designed to restore lost facial volume and improve skin structure from within. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Sculptra works gradually by encouraging your body to produce its own collagen, resulting in a natural, long-lasting lift and rejuvenation. It’s ideal for softening lines, restoring facial contours, and enhancing skin quality over time—with results that can last up to two years.

The Science
Sculptra works by stimulating your body’s natural collagen production. It contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible substance that is gradually absorbed by the body.
Once injected into the deeper layers of the skin, Sculptra acts as a collagen stimulator, triggering a healing response that rebuilds the skin’s structure over time.
Rather than providing immediate volume like traditional fillers, Sculptra encourages gradual, natural-looking results—restoring facial volume, improving firmness, and softening lines and folds. The effects build over a few months and can last up to two years or more.

The Details
-
Prior to treatment, an assessment is carried out to ensure Sculptra is right for you, discuss your goals, and create a tailored treatment plan.
-
Sculptra is injected into the deeper layers of the skin using a fine needle or cannula.
-
A topical numbing cream or local anaesthetic may be applied to maximise comfort.
-
The treatment usually takes around 30–60 minutes, depending on the area being treated
-
The product is mixed with sterile water before injection and may feel slightly plump immediately after – this is temporary and part of the process.
-
After the procedure, it is important to massage the treated area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days to help distribute the product evenly.
-
Results develop gradually over 6–12 weeks, with optimal effects seen after a course of 2–3 sessions, spaced about 4–6 weeks apart.
